A Studio Hawk and Classic City collaboration:

Storytelling in a World that Scrolls

A roundtable discussion on Feb 17th from 8-10AM at Industrious in O4F

Join a small roundtable of fellow marketing leaders for an off-the-record conversation about escaping the “bleh” that AI is rapidly creating. Just real experiences on how you’re showcasing human story.

We’re limiting attendance to 20 folks at the table.

What are we going to be discussing?

  • The “zero-click” reality: With 58.5% of searches ending without a click, how are you shifting your strategy from “informational wiki” to a “brand experience”?
  • The “shtick” factor: What is the specific design or tonal “flare” you are using to prove a human is behind the wheel?
  • Search beyond search: SEO, paid, social, and content used to live in silos. In an AI-driven discovery world, how are you aligning your digital channels to reinforce one clear, memorable brand narrative?
  • Transparency vs. mystery: We’ve been told to gate our value, but transparency builds trust faster. Have you tried “giving away the farm” (pricing, strategy) upfront? What happened?
  • The “Savannah Bananas” standard: In B2B, we often confuse “value” with just being “helpful.” How do we move the needle toward being “unforgettable” or “remarkable”?
  • Friction as a feature: We obsess over removing friction, but sometimes friction creates memory. Where are you intentionally slowing the customer down to create a moment?
  • Personal branding: Are you leaning into founder/leadership personal brands to validate the corporate brand? How do you manage the risk?
  • Offline in an online world: As digital noise increases, have you experimented with high-touch, offline experiences (dinners, mailers, events) to fast-forward trust?
  • The pivot: Share a time you realized a narrative wasn’t landing and had to pivot hard. What was the signal?

Are we going to get to all of these? Absolutely not. Also, when you sign up, if you have a question you want to add to the list, we’d love to know!

What are the rules?

This isn’t a webinar. It’s a conversation.

Experience over Theory: We ask that everyone leave the “you should do this” advice at the door. Instead, we operate on a “this is what I did, and here is what happened” mindset. We want to hear about the experiments that failed, the campaigns that surprised you, and the messy middle of figuring it out. If you haven’t lived it, don’t preach it.

The Vegas Rule: To facilitate real talk about budgets, internal politics, and “what’s actually working,” this entire session is unrecorded and strictly off-the-record. We want you to feel safe sharing the reality of your role… not the polished LinkedIn version of it.

Your experience matters.

Where are we going to be?

We will be at Industrious in the Old Fourth Ward. There is a parking deck entrance on the southeast side of the building off Angier.

Find an elevator and go to the ground floor. Once back on street level, there are two primary buildings. Industrious is the one on the southeast side. Go to the front desk, give them your name, and they will tell you which elevator and floor to go to.
