No plan? Big Problem.
What is a lack of strategy costing you?
- Website is for Current Students
One of the biggest problems we see on educational websites is that the content targets your current students. We want to help grow your school and shift focus to new students.
- Disconnected Marketing Tools
As your school has grown, the tools you use to reach students has evolved. Often times, we see a department-by-department approach to solutions, but having something that is integrated helps ensure that information is not lost.
- One Landing Page for All
Often times, we see that students and families get the same information regardless of how they learn about your school, and they are going to the same Apply Now page. Since potential students discover you through different avenues, having specific pages for different outreach efforts will speak to students and families in a more personalized way.
Having a consistent marketing plan across all departments can be challenging, but it’s important so that students feel a connection to you. Ensuring that your marketing materials and website are working together is a big step in showcasing what your school has to offer. You have a team of talented people. You just need to tap into a group of diverse experts when you need them to help bridge the gap and streamline processes.
But What Will You Do?
Our team brings years of digital marketing experience and we are constantly growing. Each of our 90-day cadences for clients looks different month-over-month: depending on your goals and our analytics, we make adjustments to the team (if necessary) to make sure we’re setting up your business for success. Below are some ideas to get your wheels spinning.
You are busy running campaigns and creating strategies for admissions. You know your website needs to stay up to date, but it always falls to the bottom of the priority list. We can be that partner who knows your website inside and out and can whip up pages for specific campaigns quickly while keeping it in line with your brand style.
Create Drip Campaigns
You know you need to be reaching out to your potential students on a regular basis, but don’t know what to say to them. Let us create the content and the cadence for your to review and approve to begin your outreach and keep it going.
To better understand how people are interacting with with you site, we’ll put heatmaps on specific pages and let them run for a month to collect data. From those, Google Analytics, and general feedback, we’ll offer suggestions on how we can improve the user experience.
Dynamic CRM Connections
Your CRM is busting at the seams with student information. However, it’s just sitting there collecting dust. You don’t have a new student outreach strategy yet, but if we craft a cadence to get in touch with these students. We’ll get your email marketing system stood up, connected with your CRM, and create an initial template for your campaign. We can even help write the content for it on a regular basis if you need it.
Creating New Processes
Want to host a webinar and invite some current (and potential) students to it? We’ll craft a landing page to send those people to that will allow them to register for the event. We’ll funnel that information into your CRM (and tagged appropriately) so you can use that data later on. If a payment needs to be collected, we’ll sync up with your payment processor to ensure you receive the money you deserve.
How do you know if something is working for your students? By asking! We’ll come up with a survey that you can send out to current students to better understand how they engaged with the website during the admissions process and how they continue to use it.
What Are The First Steps?
We want to make sure what we do sets you and your team up for long term success. A little planning at the beginning goes a long way in making a long-term impact.
Our initial goal is to better understand your school and how you serve your students. Let’s lay the foundation on the types of students that come to your school, why they come, and where they go after graduation.
Now that the foundation has been laid out, let’s shift our focus to your recruitment efforts. What tangible actions are you taking to grow relationships in the community and what does your external communication to potential students look like?
To conclude our Discovery process, we’ll want to get a clear picture of who is on your team and what skillsets they possess. We have a fantastic team of diverse talents, and we’ll want to make sure that we’re filling in gaps (rather than duplicating skills).
What We Provide
Each month may look a little different from a task-based perspective. However, we will always stay consistent with the following items. No matter what tier of service you choose to go with, we will make sure all of these items are covered for you. We want to make sure we’re taking a holistic view of all of our client’s websites.
