Chaos to clarity
I Don’t Need a Rebuild, Just Clarity

Right now, you could be thinking a number of things about your website:

  • It’s fine
  • My team can edit it, but it’s confusing our customers
  • We just did some new messaging and the site doesn’t flow correctly
  • I just need a fresh set of eyes on our site
  • I’m working with a marketing agency, and they want to make some changes to the site

At the end of the day, it doesn’t make sense to rebuild your site – you just need there to be clarity.

The good news is we don’t want to rebuild your website either.
✌🏻

How are we gonna fix it?
Here are the bullet points

Message
Who you are

Let’s define or understand a few key areas: your overall position as a company, how your services solve problems for customers, and what your key actions are going to be.

Sitemap
Often overlooked

We start off by defining the key 5-7 pages your company needs to tell its story well. From there, we walk through the remaining detailed pages and how they fit together to walk a customer through the sales process.

Wireframes
Story structure

Once the sitemap is complete, we will agree on five key pages (or templates) that we will wireframe out. We’ll use your website as a baseline and draft up layouts and headlines for each key page.

  • Five page layouts that you can use across your website to tell your story (no matter what CMS you use)
  • An entire sitemap structure that is interconnected for your customers to dive into
  • A better understanding of how to talk about your services

“This sounds great. What am I actually getting?”

Messaging

Our goal here is not to rewrite your entire company’s brand position and messaging (we have partners for that).

However, how that position gets morphed over time. Whether it’s through multiple people working on the site over the course of years or your overall brand position was recently updated, getting clarity on how those are talked about is key for your next phase of growth.

We do a strategy session where we go through and document:

  • Overall brand story
  • Why people choose your competitors
  • Each service line (what it is and how it impacts customers)
  • Calls to action

Sitemap

Often, the sitemap is the most overlooked element of a website strategy. However, a poorly constructed one tends to be the reason why websites are confusing to customers.

We start by simplifying your story down to 5-7 key pages. These pages will be the ones where your potential clients are most likely to land on from marketing campaigns.

Once those have been nailed down, we’ll then take all of the detail-oriented pages of your website and organize them under those new key pages.

Now, you’ll have a set of pages that follows your customer’s journey.

The chaos of your website is one step closer to clarity.

Wireframes

“But what should these pages look like?”

The thing is, this is where most websites get too complicated. Each page on the site starts with a “white screen” with infinite possibilities for the layout of it.

However, it shouldn’t be that complex.

Once the sitemap is complete, we will earmark five total pages (or “types” of pages). Those are the pages we are going to build wireframes. We will then look at the sitemap and assign one of the five wireframes to each page.

  • 5 wireframes to use across all pages
  • Layouts that mimic what your current site already has
  • Headlines written to guide longer-form content writing

Enterprise chops.
But, nimble enough for small biz.

Let’s talk pricing & scheduling

We will have four meetings over a 6-week period and need about four hours of your time.

  • Discovery: We ask a lot of questions
  • Sitemap Review: Going over the sitemap and defining the five wireframes
  • Wireframe Review: Going over the wireframes and collecting feedback
  • Closeout: Showcasing the final wireframes and wrapping things up

The total cost is $7,500.

But, I have some questions …

Does this work for any CMS?

Absolutely! We’re going to give your team what they need to build out content pages in whatever CMS your website is built in.

Can you build out the templates for us?

We absolutely can. If you’re interested, we’ll need to access your site’s backend to determine the level of effort it will take. Every website is built differently, and we want to ensure the estimate we give you is accurate. When we build these, we will also record training videos so your team knows how to use each page template and how to edit them.

I am in an agency. Can you whitelabel this?

Yes! Given we only need a handful of meetings with the client to make this happen, we just request you handle scheduling on our behalf to ensure the whitelabeling stays intact. In order to do this process, we will need to talk to your client. We’ve been partnering with other agencies for years – it’s second nature to us to put on your agency’s “hat” for the meeting.

Let’s go.
